A new survey shows 60% of people would rather snuggle with their pet than their partner. Research of 2,000 pet owners found that of those who prefer snuggling with their pets, two-thirds do so because they believe their pets are quieter and cleaner. Additionally, people may prefer cuddling with their pets because they do not argue or judge us like a human might.
Four in 10 pet owners said they sleep better when with their pet because their pet doesn't wake up to use the bathroom or disrupt their sleep with snoring, as well. If the pet is going to be sleeping in the bed, it might be more practical to get a smaller breed. Hope it encourages more people to adopt and rescue pets of their own.
